The photographs range from 1989 to 2007 and include seminal works such as Tokyo Stock Exchange and the diptych 99 cent store. Tallest Building in China Breaks Ground in Shanghai

Shanghai Tower will house Class-A office space, retail, a luxury hotel and cultural venues.  SHANGHAI - Shanghai Tower, a 632-meter (2,074 foot) building designed by Gensler, a leading global architectural design firm, advances sustainable design strategies and gives prominence to public spaces. The Shanghai Tower Construction & Development Co., Ltd., is the project's developer. Thornton Tomasetti structural engineers, Cosentini Associates mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers and the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tongji University as the Local Design Institute will support Gensler. Saul Steinberg (1914 - 1999), an American artist whose magic lit up the pages and covers of The New Yorker for six decades, is the subject of Dulwich Picture Gallery's latest winter exhibition. It's a retrospective which features more than a hundred drawings, collages and sculptural assemblages by the artist whom many regard as not only a comic genius but among the greatest draftsmen of the modern era. Danish architect, Joern Utzon - The Sydney Opera House - Photo: Bjarte Sorensen  COPENHAGEN.- Danish architect, Joern Utzon, who conceived the Sydney Opera House, has died aged 90, the director of the Utzon art and architecture centre in Denmark said Saturday to AFP. "He died overnight at a care centre north of Copenhagen after suffering a heart attack," Adrian Carter told AFP, adding that Utzon had undergone "major surgery" earlier this year which left him in a weakened state. » read more

One of the most exciting and extraordinary discoveries of recent years, it was found in the attic of a French château where it had been hidden by the grandparents of the present owners due to the semi-naked subject.
