The Student Computer Center, located on the second floor of the Conrad N. Hilton Library, supports both Windows, and Macintosh, based computers with word processing, spreadsheet, and graphic programs. Templates for completing some class assignments are also available. Students can access the Internet, and computer software workshops are offered periodically. Computer printing and fax services are available for a fee. The center, staffed by qualified lab assistants, is open daily, evenings, and weekends when the CIA is in session.
The Video CenterThe Video Center, located on the fourth floor of the library, contains an extensive collection of DVDs and videotapes on cooking, baking, management, and other topics. Many of these holdings feature demonstrations of culinary techniques ranging from basic skill development to advanced levels of food preparation. Created and produced by CIA faculty and staff, they form a valuable learning resource supplementing classroom instruction.
Viewing stations for single and multiple users are available. The center also contains computer workstations for Internet and digital video access.
